Authorities of the city

Status and competences of the city are determined by the Municipalities act (128/2000). According to this act, the City of Frydek-Mistek is a public corporation.
Within the frame of delegated competence the City of Frydek-Mistek is responsible for the implemetation of state administration in the fields of health care, education, social care, master planning, building office agenda, registry office, trade office, road administration, water management, environment protection etc.
